The Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce Textile and Clothing Chamber of Commerce held its second session of the first member meeting

On the afternoon of December 10th, the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce Textile and Clothing Chamber of Commerce held its second first member meeting. Yang Qian, member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, Xi Shiping, Honorary President of the Chamber of Commerce, and Lu Liying and Liang Jinshan, Vice Presidents of the Shanghai Textile Association, attended the meeting. Fang Shijun, Chairman and General Manager of Shanghai New Talent Investment Co., Ltd., has been elected as the new President of the Chamber of Commerce.

Yang Qian, on behalf of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Municipal Chamber of Commerce, congratulated the successful convening of the conference and the newly elected leadership team of the Chamber of Commerce. She pointed out that in the past five years, the Textile and Clothing Chamber of Commerce has always aimed to build a "four good" chamber of commerce, closely united and led its members to firmly listen to the Party and follow the Party, and played a positive role in promoting the high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry. She put forward three suggestions for the future development of the Chamber of Commerce: firstly, maintain strategic determination, strengthen development confidence, and actively respond to various risks and challenges. The second is to focus on the main business, deeply cultivate industries, and cultivate and develop new quality productive forces. The Chamber of Commerce should accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of traditional industries. Driven by innovation, we will integrate the textile and clothing industry with cutting-edge technologies and future industries, forming new fields and tracks, and continue to play a leading role in the industry; The third is to operate in compliance, contribute to society, and take on social responsibility to the best of one's ability. The Chamber of Commerce should continue to strengthen legal publicity and guide enterprises to operate legally. We should encourage member enterprises to actively participate in various social and charitable undertakings, promote rural revitalization and common prosperity.

At the meeting, newly elected president Fang Shijun delivered an inaugural speech; Yang Qian, Xi Shiping, Lu Liying, Liang Jinshan, Fang Shijun, and the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce, Liu Yinfeng, presented the membership certificates of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce to the member representatives.

More than 180 people, including representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Legal Services Department of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, some business associations, and members of the Chamber of Commerce, attended the meeting.
